Archive
Overview
Once a report is resolved or closed, you can archive it. Archiving a report removes it from the active list of reports and moves it to the archive. You can view archived reports at any time. You can also unarchive a report if you need to.
Archived reports cannot be edited or commented on. They are read-only.
Archiving vs Deleting
When you archive a report, it is moved to the archive with all its history, correspondence and notes and can be recovered from archive (unarchive). When you delete a report, its content, history, correspondence and notes are permanently removed from the system. However, Fortworx always keeps the metadata of a report even if it is deleted.
This metadata includes the Report subject, the original researcher and the name and IP address of the member who deleted the report as well as the date and time of deletion. This metadata is used for audit purposes and cannot be deleted.
