Known CVEs

Overview

Fortworx keeps an up-to-date list of all known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) that are relevant to the platform. Security researchers can use this list to link a report to a known CVE which can help provide context and additional information about the vulnerability being reported.

Finding the correct CVE

If an explicit mention of a CVE is available in the report (email or web form) then the CVE will be linked to the report. In the absence of such explicit link, Fortworx will try to find the correct CVE by analyzing the report content and the vulnerability description. If a match is found, the CVE will be linked to the report.
