Integrations

Overview

Fortworx supports third-party integrations to extend your workspace into the tools your team already uses. Integrations are managed from the workspace settings.

Slack

The Slack integration allows your workspace to send notifications to a Slack channel and stay informed about new reports and activity without leaving Slack.

Setting Up Slack

1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations in your workspace.
2. Click Connect next to the Slack integration.
3. You will be redirected to Slack to authorize the connection via OAuth.
4. Select the Slack workspace you want to connect.
5. Once connected, configure the Slack channel where notifications should be sent.

Slack Notifications

Once connected, Slack acts as a notification channel alongside email and in-app notifications. You can configure which notification events are sent to Slack from your notification preferences.

Disconnecting Slack

To disconnect the Slack integration, navigate to Settings > Integrations and click Disconnect next to the Slack integration. This removes the OAuth connection and stops all Slack notifications for the workspace.

Managing Integrations

The integrations page shows the connection status for each available integration. A green indicator means the integration is connected and active. A warning indicator means the integration needs attention (for example, re-authorization).
