Notifications
Overview
Fortworx keeps you informed about activity in your workspace through multiple notification channels. You can customize which events you receive notifications for and how you receive them.
Notification Channels
In-App Inbox
Every workspace member has an inbox accessible from the main navigation. The inbox shows notifications for events in your workspace with unread indicators. You can filter between all notifications and unread-only, and delete notifications individually or in bulk.
Email notifications are sent to your account email address for workspace events you’re subscribed to.
Slack
If your workspace has a Slack integration configured, notifications can be sent to a designated Slack channel.
Notification Events
Fortworx supports the following notification events:
- New Report — A new report has been received in the workspace.
- New Correspondence — A new email has been received on an existing report.
- User Mentioned — You were @mentioned in a report note.
- Report Assigned — A report has been assigned to you.
- Approval Required — An outbound response on a report in your scope is pending your approval (scope Leads only). See Correspondence Approval.
- Correspondence Approved — Your outbound response has been approved and sent by the scope Lead.
- Correspondence Rejected — Your outbound response has been rejected by the scope Lead and needs revision.
Managing Notification Preferences
You can manage your notification subscriptions from your personal settings under the Notifications section. For each notification event and channel, you can enable or disable delivery. Some notifications are required and cannot be disabled.
